5 Top Resources for Communicating Efficiently

As an enthusiastic advocate of continuous education, I like to keep my ears to the ground for various effective resources. Whether it is through the blogs, online incubators, like moomkin.com, or motivational literature, it is important to learn how to sharpen our own professional and soft skills.

Some of the most recent motivational literature that I have read, has a particular focus on communications skills. No matter what professional field you are in, the way we consciously and subconsciously communicate with one another, can ignite our personal and professional successes and failures.

Some people are naturally-born orators; some have a gift to be persuasive ‘salespeople’. Hence, the higher levels of success come more naturally to those lucky one. Unfortunately, for the rest of us, learning to communicate effectively is the skill that needs to be acquired through self-training. With a little conscious effort and inspiring educational literature, we, too, can make ourselves more marketable, and, therefore, more successful.

Here are some of the best-sellers that I have hit recently, and would like to share with you:

1. How To Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie.

Another timeless piece by Dale Carnegie! It’s impossible not to include this groundbreaking work to the list. For generations, some of the most successful individuals have been endorsing these motivational findings.

2. Talk Like a Winner: 21 Simple Rules for Achieving Everyday Communication Success by Steve Nakamoto.

The author effectively debunks the mystery of effective everyday communication skills. Walking through the steps, applying them in our daily lives, are only the first milestones we all could, most certainly, afford to take.
