Q: Do you think the education you’ve invested in helped you on the road to success?
To be perfectly honest, it’s more about motivation, as opposed to education. Formal education doesn’t help much when it comes to the internet.
Q: What was the “breaking point” in your career that made you decide to build your own brand?
We were building stuff for other people. We decided to start building stuff for ourselves, although Kareem still does client work at http://ping.fm/G8wrw
Q: What were some of the obstacles that you had to overcome to get to where you are now? How do you overcome failure?
Lots of nights working in coffee shops and then waking up in the morning to go to a day job. It’s hard to find a balance.
Q: As a young professional, what were some of the mistakes that you made and what did you learn?
Getting big too fast. You have to be ready for it. Don’t go big right away. Sometimes it’s all about testing, testing, and more testing.
Q: How do you measure success?
Success is being happy and being able to do whatever you want, whenever you want.

Don’t give up.

Ride motorcycles, hang out with dogs, chill in the city and think.
