One of the key elements of passing PMP test successfully is taking tons, and I underline tons of sample questions. Since this is a knowledge-based exam, after memorizing the concepts, and learning how to apply the terminology to various hypothetical scenarios, it is crucial to spend time on training your brain muscle. Even if you become very familiar with the material, the four consecutive hours of grueling examination, could be a psychologically shocking experience. It could, potentially, be the fact, if you are to walk into the exam room without any practice runs under your belt, whether you are very familiar with PMBOK Guide, or not.
With that said, the key is to take at least a couple of full-size tests in order to set your brain muscles to these grueling time constraints. If you are planning on purchasing a study guide, make sure, it includes at least one full-size sample test. Prepare your mind for a mental marathon. You need to train to pace yourself. At the same time, push yourself, and stay fully focused to the end of the question 200.
